Ellie in her traditional garb
This headdress is from Ellie's home country. The red-and-white pattern is reminiscent of her people's traditions of shoveling snow and eating copious quantities of tomato sauce. The square shape helps the hat double as a box for storing the family's goods, which is a very useful feature in her nomadic society.
